Dear family, friends, and supporters,

My name is Claudia Chiguila, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my brother-in-law, Andrew Valdez, who tragically lost his childhood home due to the Eaton fire. The Valdez family lived in Altadena for more than 50 years and now has lost everything. We are extremely devastated to know all of their memories and possessions are gone. While we are incredibly grateful they made it out safely, the loss of their home and cherished belongings has left them devastated.

I am asking for your generosity during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the amount, is appreciated. Altadena is his home and will forever be his home. It’s supporters like you that help us change the world every day.
