Surviving Cipro- New Treatments

A little over one month ago, I was a happy, healthy, energetic mother, special education teacher, and wife. Then, I took Cipro for a suspected urinary tract infection and that all changed. My body is deteriority daily due to something called Fluoroquinolone Toxicity, a rare medical condition in which Cipro poisons your body. The reactions varies from person to person from mild to totally debilitating. At times, it can be fatal. There is no specific tests, course of treatment, or prognosis. Each person is different. There is no cure, only management of symptoms and hope that given the right support, the body will heal in time. Regular medical professionals are often unaware and unskilled at treating FQ toxicity. It is a hidden illness in many ways, affecting the central nervous system at a cellular level. The alternative medical care I have sought has been highly expensive, not covered by insurance, and possibly just a bandaid on the issues. I have one hope left....a specialist in Indiana who has studied, treated, and helped many FQ toxicity patients and is giving them their lives back! I need to heal and get better for my son, my husband, my family, and my preschool students. Many people and children are depending on me. In order to do this, I need your help. I pray to God every day for a miracle. When Dr. Decker's office contacted me and said they would be willing to help if I come to Indiana I cried with joy!
