Hi everyone! My friend Shannon and her family had a house fire yesterday. The fire not only destroyed all their possessions but it took the life of their three dogs as well. Shannon and I have known each other since I moved to Richmond about 15 years ago. We worked in veterinary medicine together and now we are both nurses. Shannon is a hospice nurse who spends her days helping others at their greatest time of need. I thought about collecting items for them but I think money would be the most beneficial at this point.
