Vrikodara Prabhu and Family

Hare Krishna! My name is Taravali Dasi. I am helping to fundraise for a wonderful devotee family that I have known since I lived in Israel, back in 2008. The family is very humble and wouldn't ask for any financial help on their own, but devotees close to them know that they need assistance.

Vrikodara Das, his wife Shyamavedi Dasi and their teenage son Vasudev recently moved to Canada from Israel. Although trained as a registered nurse back in Israel, Shyamavedi Mataji is currently in Canada studying at school full time. Vrikodara Prabhu struggled for some time to get a job and when he finally found one, he was diagnosed with a serious health issue and had to undergo open heart surgery.

Years ago, Vrikodara Prabhu formed the Russian speaking yatra in Israel. He's also been part of harinama sankirtan service for over 30 years and was one of the main devotee leaders of ISKCON in Israel. Vrikodara Prabhu is also very known for his very enthusiastic kirtans and his friendly, humble nature!

He is still recovering from his surgery and the family is in great financial need as both parents are unable to work right now. Any help that you can give, no matter how big or small, would be greatly appreciated.
