The Swanson Family Medical Expenses

My name is Laura Hammon and I’m fundraising for the Swanson family, who has given so much to our community. Recently the family suffered a tragic accident that involved their 2 year son,Canaan. He is currently fighting for his life and has a very long road to recovery. While family members are in St.Louis caring for and supporting their sweet boy, they could use help for medical expenses, hotel, food, travel cost, and to keep their everyday bills paid and their other children taken care of.This family didn’t want to ask for support but they truly deserve it. Hopefully this will take some of the burden off of them. If you can’t donate we completely understand but we would love for you to share this and say a prayer for this sweet boy and family.

On a personal note the father of this family has been my lieutenant and now chief of police with two separate Police Departments. During this time I have witnessed him going above and beyond for his community and the people he serves.
