On the evening of August 9th, 2025, our lives were turned upside down when our home and vehicle were severely flooded by heavy rains. My two young children, ages 4 and 8, along with our two dogs, are safe. However, the water damage is extensive, and we've lost so much of our memories, kids toys, fishing gear, computer equipment, school books/supplies, and many other precious items. Sadly, after many phone calls, we found out our renters insurance does not cover flood. To make matters even more complicated, our family vehicle is totaled from being submerged in water. We are thankful for our family and friends who came to help us pump water and get our items out of the house. But we're now faced with the overwhelming challenge of recovering from this disaster and are reaching out for any help that is offered.
