Support Baby Oliver’s Health Journey

Hi Family & Friends,

I am creating this go fund me for my sister and her family during this difficult and unimaginable situation she is currently going through. She gave birth to her baby boy a few months ago. When she was pregnant with him doctors gave her unfortunate news that he was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). With this she needed to be at doctors appointments almost daily while having a 1 year old daughter as well.

Doctors informed her that her son would need heart surgery in stages throughout his infant, and child years; in which they began creating a surgical plan with an amazing medical team.

Now that baby has arrived she was granted a room at the Ronald McDonald housing connected to the hospital where her baby was born so she could continue to be right next to him at all times.

Her son was born with expectations from the doctors to only need the heart surgeries. Upon his arrival they discovered his esophagus was underdeveloped as well. He was rushed to surgery a day later and is stable.

Now months later after intermittent care. Doctors are saying he is no longer a candidate for the heart surgery he needs and there’s nothing else they can do. Mom, Dad, and family still have hope that god and all the prayers can help him.

Both Mom & Dad have been through more than most parents can imagine and are unable to work at this time with the demand needed by both of their children and continuous changes in baby’s health.

We ask that you please donate whatever you can to make this process easier for them by not needing to stress about how the bills will be paid or any arising costs.
