Hello,
As many of you know, our family was given the devasting news that the bone marrow transplant Brianna had in September wasn't successful and that her body could not handle another one. We were told that there is not anything else that can be done. Our hearts are heavy with sadness and all we can do now is help her to be comfortable and show her how much she is loved. She will start hospice care on December 26th so that we can have one last Christmas together.
I am trying to help my sister by taking some of the burden of Memorial decisions off her and today I was amazed at the cost of it. I am reaching out to our friends and family and asking for any sort of help we may get. I realize this is not a good time to be asking for help with the Holidays and I certainly understand those that are not able to help. All I would like to do is help my family in any way I can.
Brianna is one of the strongest young ladies I have EVER know and she has fought so hard! I cannot imagine our lives without her!! All we can do it trust and lean on the Lord as he will be our comfort and strength.
We are very blessed and grateful to everyone for showing Brianna support in whatever way you are able. Even if you are unable to help financially,  please just keep Brianna, my sister Cathie, and our family in your prayers as we grieve and say Goodbye.
