VR-capable laptop for Tessa
Donation protected
Collecting money for Tessa's computer so she can actually use her VR-headset. If we get enough, we might just be able to get her a computer strong enough for streaming and even full-body tracking.
Hello everyone and thank you for your attention!
Some background: As some of you already know, we had this impromptu meetup for this 13 year young lass, Tessa, who was feeling depressed the other day and asked me why she was still breathing, why she wasn't dead. At the time, I took her to see Naddition, to see if that would cheer her up. And it did. Today, we saw the domino effect of it all.
Tessa is a Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH) survivor. LCH, as Tessa would explain it, is a rare form of cancer. You can read more about this here: https://www.histio.org/lchinchildren While she did survive the cancer, she has gotten some permanent damage around her T7 vertebrae leaving her with chronic back pain.
During her time in the hospital, she spent so many hours watching VRC streamers and YouTube content. She didn't care if they were small streamers or big ones, she enjoyed all of them. She even enjoyed those who didn't stream, but still appeared in the streams or videos.
I wish to give her a memory she will never forget. A super-positive memory. Something she can look back to and remember whenever she would feel sad, whenever she would feel like nobody care about her, whenever she would feel lonely, whenever anything.
Today, 15th of January 2019, she got to meet 70+ streamers before her laptop couldn't handle the amount of people. She told me this was literally the best day of her life thus far.
Tomorrow, 16th of January 2019, from 6 PM CST, we wish for everyone to be there to greet her. It doesn't matter if you're a small-time streamer or a giant streamer.
She'd watch everyone, regardless, and chances are big that she has heard of you or seen you at some point. I ask that you will either stream or record this meeting with Tessa, as I wish to create a compilation of all the meetings and all the fun she had with you which she can bring with her onwards in life.
