how can i put my mum zahra story
last year she had small surgery to remove tiny tumor on the left side of the nasal everything was fine tree month later mum start to feel the tumor is coming back again and a lamp on the rigt side of her nick started to grow which was strange she went to hospitals it took wee while to figure that its skin cancer malignant melanoma
by than the right side of the nasal was completly blocked and the lump on the right side of the neck got a lot beggir
after that she had to be admitted to clinic in marrakich
for surgery but they refused to do it
and said to mum there is no much we can do
after that mum been told that she will only live for few month up to a year
i decided to go back to morocco and support her but it was so hard to see her in those sercumstances which i never imagined before so i decided if thats the case than at least i will give her chance to come to scotland for visit to spend sometime with us and have chance to see her grand kids Malika she is going to be 6 years old in the 7th of october and Ameenah she is going to be 3 year old on the 19th september and maybe see if something could be done here we first adviced that only place we could try is royal marsden hospital in london because is not resident so she had CT scan MRI and blood test after that they offered mum surgery but it was so expensive we couldnt afford it so mum than decided that will be just better to come and stay with us in banff and take just pain killirs to ease the pain but couple week later the pain went extremelly bad and i had to regester her with local GP who said that she need to be refered to aberdeen hospital to see specialist
who can see her and advice us on what the best so i did and she had more scans and blood test and finally they gave mum hope and said the best thing for zahra is surgery and than treatment if needed,
but we have to pay for it after we paid 4000 for her scan in london .
sadly I and Emma are no longer together and she making arrangemt to move to edinburgh with kids which made all of us very sad .
especially at this point where my mum really need cycological support.
Zahra finally got an oppointment for surgery for the tumor and the lump on the right side of the her nick
to be removed so that she can go back to morocco
and hopefully she will be albe to contineu her treatment
over there and if che lucky enough she will survive it
and comeback in future to visit me and spend time with her grand childern in scotland
the surgery cost will be 7000 pounds and im really hoping that i will be able to raise some of this amount
to be able to support her through this very difficult time
