Hi everyone,
As some of you may know, my brother was involved in a motorcycle accident nearly two months ago. I come to you with a heavy heart and urgent need. He received his first medical bill yesterday totaling $35,000 and another $4000 in extra fees. In the case of a normal accident, insurance would cover all of this, but in Andrew’s case the driver that hit him did not stop. He was involved in a hit and run and under California law insurance will not cover his medical bills or the cost of his motorcycle because he was hit by an "uninsured" driver.
In the worst possible way Andrew lost his job because he was unable to stand due to 4 fractured metatarsals in his left foot and heavy bruising on the left side of his body. To add on to this the police department did not pursue the man that hit him.
Most of you probably don't know that the doctors and emergency responders did not expect Andrew to live, in a miracle that only God could have wrapped His loving arms around him and saved him. Please pray for peace for Andrew and that those who love would encourage him daily through his struggles.
Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly
