Giving a hand to the Lewison family
Don protégé
On Sunday night August 30th, Jason Lewison suffered a massive heart attack. His wife, kirsten Lewison, performed CPR and was able to bring him back and continue until police and paramedics arrived.
(Kirstens facebook update) Last night, Jason was taken by ambulance for suffering a heart attack at our home. He had 100% heart vessel clogged and they immediately put in a stint. He is very sick right now and in coma state over the next few days. He is in therapeutic hypothermia to allow his brain protection and time for recovery. Please keep my dear husband in your thoughts and prayers! We are very hopeful as are the doctors. I apologize this is very to the point, it has been a very long and difficult night. I love you baby more than you know...stay strong and keep fighting!!!
(Jasons sister, Trinas update) 10 am today (Sept.1) they have started to allow Jason to warm up by .25 degree Celsius per hour. This could take 24-48 hours and then they will back off on the sedation medication and allow him to come to. They will be looking for him to follow simple commands. If that is successful they they continue to allow him to wake up. If not then restart the cooling process over again to allow more time. We hear your prayers and feel your love each and everyone of you.
We ask to keep our family in your heart and thoughts and help out in any way possible. There is a very long road ahead.
