Bob (Robert Macellaro) was my chosen father who passed away. We adopted each other 16 years ago when he lost his biological family. Bob never thought of doing anything for himself and gave everything to everyone else. Bob was my dad and did everything for me but I don’t have the financial mean to cover his last wish. When the hospital call me to tell me he passed away it was a shocker for me. I live in California where I serve my active duty responsibilities with the navy. I flew the next day to New York to handle business. I want to make his last wish a reality like made everyone wishes a reality when he was alive. My dads last wished was to be buried with his parents. All bob had left was me and my family. I don’t want the state to take his body and dispose of it like he didn’t have a family because he did! Please help me give him a proper service.

Words can’t describe the amount of love I have for you. Right now, I’m so grateful you were my dad. You picked me and I’m so beyond grateful for you. Thank you for being beyond selfless. Thank you for giving everyone around us the experience of a life time. Thank you for teaching me how to be bold and present. Thank you daddy. Thank you because at the end of the day, I chose you over and over again. You are not gone to me. Today, my new goal is our legacy. You will never die to me. Bob you lost your biological family and despite the sadness you carried every day for their loss, you chose to give love. Not just love you gave it all. I want you to know that you have a massive family and no one will ever forget you. Legends never die and daddy you’re a legend. I will make my dreams a reality and talk about our adventures to everyone around the world. I will create and give back the way you did. Thank you, Thank you so much. I cry because I’m grateful to be able to cry because I love you so deeply. When you were looking for love so was I and we found each other. Giving each other an imperfect love. I wouldn’t have it any other way than to have it the way, I had it with you. Biological parents in a way are responsible to be with their kids even if they’re not. But you picked me and you didn’t have too. Thank you for allowing me to have a dad and the most wonderful years of my life. My family is so proud that you were part of the family. We love you Bob!
