Suzanne Vasquez's Cancer Fund

Our mother, Suzanne Vasquez, has recently been diagnosed with mulitple myeloma, a type of bone marrow cancer.  As a mother to 7 and grandmother to 21, she is the rock that holds our family together.   She is a best friend to her children and grandchildren, supporting us in our endeavors as the postive force in our lives.   She has worked hard her entire life, filling the difficult role of both mother and father to her first 4 children for 16 years.  

Suzanne has been a rock in the community as well, donating her time and culinary skills throughout her life. Many lives have been touched by this wonderful woman!

This cancer has no cure, and can only be controlled with treatment.   Without treatment, her prognosis is a year or less.  Treatment will drastically change this prognosis. She has decided to undergo a very vigorous treatment, so she can stay with her family a bit longer.

Unfortunately her insurance does not cover all of the of the treatment. We are asking friends, family and anyone who might be inclined to help us keep our mom here with us a bit  longer, to contribute to this fund. All of the funds that we gather  will go towards her medical treatments that are not covered by the insurance. Every little bit helps.
