Medical expenses and recovery

Hi my name is Cindy and I’m fundraising for my son Adam to help cover any medical expenses insurance does not cover, housing expenses to keep his home and monthly bills. Unfortunately his truck also involved in a shoot out between the suspects and police.

On September 2nd two men robbed a store at gunpoint then carjacked and shot my son and his friend. Unfortunately his friend passed away at the scene. Adam was transported to out of state hospital and underwent surgery. He is in ICU in critical condition. His intestine and liver were surgically repaired and spleen had to be removed. One of the bullets nicked his adrenal glad but dr said that should heal on its own. He was packed with gauze so his surgical incision was left open and is going back into surgery today to have it removed and during that time the surgeon will recheck and make sure nothing else was damaged.

I normally do not ask for help and would work overtime to cover his expenses. Currently overtime is lacking right now and if there was lots of overtime to be had I can not work much overtime as I am taking care of my mother and taking her to dr appointments as she was recently diagnosed with cancer so I am asking for help as I am overloaded. I know many are going through hard times and if you can not donate a share of this would be very much appreciated.
