Memorial for John Bledsoe

Johnathan Bledsoe and Joe Bledsoe

It is with a heavy heavy heart that we are saying goodbye to someone taken too young. There was a fatal car crash located in Commerce City, Colorado on Friday, February 25, 2022. John was one of the fatalities, he was pronouned DOA. Joe has survived but is severely injured. He has a broken eye socket, brain bleed and a broken back. All of which will affect his day to day life. Regardless we are so grateful Joe will survive and get the chance to grow up. Yet heartbroken that we will never have the same for John.

John was the oldest of 4 siblings. He was undoubtedly a huge role model to his 3 younger brother's. He was someone they knew that they could look to for direction. John worked at the rec center during summer and was an avid contributor to his family. He was so adamant that he was going to make the best life he could not just for himself but the one's he loved.

His family is filled with a tremendous emptiness that can never be healed. We look at where he once stood and know that void will never be filled. Yet we know he is with us, just differently.

We have started this fundraiser to help give John the proper burial he deserves. He was such a good kid and had so much life ahead of him. This is for a proper send off not just for his family but first and foremost, to him. He will be dearly missed for the rest of our lives.

The family would also like to thank everyone for the outpour of support. Thank you to the community for being a pilar in helping us through this grief. Wishing you all many blessings. Don't wait till tomorrow, act today, for the tomorrows that John will never get the chance to have.
