Anyone who knows Lisa has been witness to her incredible work ethic, killer sense of humor, and fierce independence. She has been the heart of any place that she has worked, people have always come to her when they need something, for her unfiltered opinion or a just for much needed laugh. She has always worked multiple jobs throughout her life, even as she has aged and multiple health ailments that come with that have tried to slow her down. Even after a stroke last year Lisa quickly returned to work.
Unfortunately, on November 29th Lisa was in a serious car accident on her way home. Her car was totaled and she suffered extensive injuries. She broke cervical vertebrae C4, C5, and C6, 4 ribs, and has a tibial plateau fracture to her leg that will need serious rehab and possibly surgery. She also had almost 30 stitches. Her recovery is going to be extensive and it would be an incredible help to her to have one less worry as she focuses on getting better. Any funds will go to helping cover her day to day expenses that still need attention while she is in the hospital and rehab, helping to buy any equipment she needs to aid in her mobility and comfort after returning home. We are hoping to take a little pressure off so Lisa is able to recover fully without rushing and worrying.
If Lisa has touched your life, told you one of her famous joke, or helped you in way and you’d like to show your appreciation, helping her this way will be immeasurable.
