Our family woke up today to terrible news.  Our beloved family member Christopher Lee Medrano was murdered in Nicaragua on Saturday night. Our family is devastated with the news and ongoing investigation.  We don't understand who would want to do this to him, everyone loved him! With another death in the family words can not explain our pain and emptiness he leaves us and his beautiful daughter age 5 with. Our hearts are truly broken!

(I'll keep this short because my hand is shaking and can't get myself together without breaking down)

Those who knew Chris, know that he was smart, funny, charming and very big hearted. Anytime he ever stepped in a room he would always make you laugh, play with the kids, and treated all his friends like family, he was ladies man and very loveable. My brother and best friend will be forever deeply be missed and loved.

Please help our family in this time of need with anything you can. We need to get things prepared and need help bringing his body back to California, so our family and friends can have our final good byes.
