Yesterday afternoon my parents lost the home that me and my entire family grew up in. This was a complete devistation that shook all of us. When we heard we rushed over as soon as we could. Words can not describe the feeling of seeing the home you grew up in engulfed in flames. My mother, sister, her husband, and their child were rushed to the hospital to be checked for smoke inhilation. Thankfully everyone is ok.
My oldest sister, her husband, and their only child my adorable nephew Nicholas have been left homeless by this devistating event. They were living in the upstairs of the house. They literally got out with the clothes on their back. My nephew was literally carried out with no shoes on because they had to exit so quickly. It appears that just about everything has been lost to the fire.
The money raised will be used to try and replace some of the things that were lost in the fire. Clothes, shoes, furniture, a young boy's toys, and endless things that escape my mind that are used for day to day living. It does not appear that anything will be salvaged.
As a new family with a young child they will struggle mightly to begin from scratch. Anything that anyone can do to help would be so appreciated. Standing outside in the bitter cold and seeing that fire, thinking about them having literally no idea where they will go was such a sad image. I ask again please for people to do anything they can. Thank you so much.
