Katrina's Medical Fund

I was diagnosed with pulmonary embolisms, blood clots in the lung,  in 2012.  Unfortunately they did not resolve and my physician has recommended that I undergo a pulmonary thromboendarterectomy (say that 3 times fast) at UC San Diego.  

It requires that I travel and undergo extensive testing prior to the procedure.  Thank goodness my mother will be with me the entire time.    I will be in California for approximately 4 weeks and will incur substantial expenses for transportation, lodging, medications and meals.
