I have been blessed with a dear friend whom we have known for 7+ years. She is incredibly hard-working, loyal, caring, and humble, but she has been handed some pretty tough burdens in her life. She has worked so hard to climb out of poverty and some pretty terrible circumstances and is so close to being able to have stability, but she and her lovely husband are struggling. They were denied for FEMA assistance despite losing all of the food they had, and are living in a pretty awful situation (think a slumlord for a landlord, but moving is extremely difficult financially). Right now they could use any support, big or small, that you'd be willing to give, or if you know of a job opening for either of them. They are so hardworking and as long as the schedule works (they have one car at the moment and also need to be home reasonably to get their daughter off the bus), they would both be willing to do anything. She has experience in childcare and housekeeping, is a wonderful house sitter for holiday travel, etc. and he has a startup mobile car detailing service that is a LIFESAVER.
