Cancer battle! Bills and Medical Bills

My name is Betty Thomas, I’m a mom of 2 amazing kids. On March 30th I was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. Luckily we caught it before it has spread and my oncologist says it’s curable. My life has been turned upside down. I have 5 more chemo treatments (3 days per round) every 21 days and start radiation during my 4th chemo round. The Mass is really close to my esophagus so they want my mass to shrink with chemo so it won’t burn my esophagus. Radiation will be Monday thru Friday for 8 weeks. On April 13th my employer fired me for missing too many days because of illness. Unfortunately I had not been with the company long enough to get medical leave. I have travel expenses to and from treatment along with my normal bills that I’m super stressed out on how I will pay them all right now. Once I’m done with my treatments and go into remission, I’ll be able to find another job but right now treatment has to come first. I have applied for temporary disability but I was told it could take 90 days to get approved. I hate asking for help and this is way out of my comfort zone but I would be grateful for anyone that would be able to spare anything no matter how big or small, it would help tremendously.
