Help Isabel

Hi, I'm Lena, Isabel's older sister. I'm trying to to raise money so my sister can get a new wheelchair.

Isabel is 31 years old. She was about to finish her PhD when she got Covid almost two years ago. It started off relatively normal but the symptoms didn't go away. She started feeling weaker and weaker from week to week. Now almost two years later she is not able to walk anymore. Most days she is feeling so bad that she can't even leave her bed. And worst thing about all this: she is continuing to feel worse and worse.

As most post covid treatments are experimental no insurance will pay for her tests and treatments. My family has paid several ten thousands of dollars for tests and treatments but so far nothing is helping.

She is basically stuck at home and to her bed, so we want to get her a wheelchair that she can handle on her own and will give her back some freedom and some joy of life.

The wheelchair she needs will cost approximately 12000dollars.

Please help us raise enough money for her.
