Thank you for reading my story.
I am 51 years old with a 13 year old daughter.
My Melanoma retuned to my lymphnodes 2 years ago, and has since spread to my lungs, brain and spine.
I have be leaving my home in New Mexico to travel to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX about once a month for my chemo/radiation treatments.
WIth plane tickets for two ( I can not travel alone), hotel costs and shuttle trips to and from the hospital I have been spending $3k-$5k per trip depending on the duration of the treatment.
Fotuneately I have great insurance so I have managed to pay my medical expenses so far.
I currently have three more chemo trips to make which last 7-10 days each depending on my labs.
When you are fighting cancer and facing ones own immortality ........... Things that once seemed so important to me are no longer on my mind. It's those I love and remember that are now in the fore front of my thoughts.
Please help me help myself.
