On Wednesday, I had to rush my cat to the emergency vet because I noticed he was having a hard time urinating. He had to be hospitalized for 48 hours to unblock him, which was super expensive, but the hospital luckily adjusted the estimate and took into consideration my financial situation. It was still expensive, but I was hoping and praying this would be the last time I would have to deal with this situation.
The next day after he was discharged from the vet, I noticed he was urinating on himself and also urinating so much blood, as well as not eating, so I rushed him to the vet again. Unfortunately, he was reblocked and had to be hospitalized again. This time he is in worse condition than before; he developed anemia from all the blood loss in his urine, high kidney levels, and possibly a UTI, which he is currently being tested for. I was able to hospitalize him for a reasonable price for only 24 hours, but they told me that it is possible that he might need to stay longer, and I would have to put down more money if he needs a blood transfusion for all the blood loss.
I was informed that if I was unable to put down more money, I would have to consider euthanasia, which I really don’t want to do, and I really want to give him all the help he needs. The sum for all of these procedures would be up to possibly $9,000, but all I ask for is a small contribution. Anything would help; I really don’t want to lose him.
