Help Cindy Beat Cancer

Cindy Machado has spent her life bringing sunshine into the lives of the humans and animals who share our planet. Now she's fighting cancer.

Overnight, her life drastically changed.

She's been through major surgery and is receiving chemo and radiation. Her chemo treatments will continue for many more months.

This is a long journey for Cindy, one that likely will entail her having to also move to a more accessible home.

Cindy has spent her time on this planet helping animals. Helping her community members, colleagues, friends, and fellow advocates. Forging bridges and connections between opposing sides. Generously sharing her expert knowledge and her caring heart. And doing it all with grace, humor, and that trademark Cindy twinkle in her eye. Now it's our turn to help this good apple.

Fortunately, the kind of cancer she has can be treatable. And, as you know -- it's expensive to be sick. It's expensive to move. And it's expensive to get better.
