Save Our Family Home: Urgent Help Needed

Hello, Everyone.

I'm in need of help....... words I'm not good at speaking, as I've done everything myself my entire life. But here we are, in dire need.

As many know, I've been self employed since 2019.

In this past year, things have been really slow and despite my best efforts, I have fallen behind financially.

I've been trying to stay strong and keep the business going, I've been looking for a job. I've ran through my savings to stay afloat. Unfortunately, it hasn't been enough and now I'm at risk of losing our family's home.

Moving forward, I believe we're in a position to stay on top of things but I'm so severely behind and out of time to catch up on my mortgage. My mortgage was sold to another company and they aren't willing to work with me at all!! I was told yesterday I can't even make partial payments, as they're requiring the full back log which is just short of $6000. I was also informed by them I have to come up with the money ASAP (before a letter of foreclosure goes out..... which they can't even tell me when that is but he said probably before the months end). That was like a punch to the gut. I can't even get a time frame.... just "do it and do it now or you and your family will be homeless."

I'd rather earn the money than ask for a handout but due to the time restraints, I feel like I have no other choice but to ask my community for help!

I should note I've also called every HUD-approved counselor program/ home assistance programs. Half have been closed down. The others I'm still awaiting a call back.

I'm embarrassed and ashamed I'm in this position. I hate that I had to start this. I'm just asking for any help you can. Heck if there's a resource out there you know of that you think could help, message me! I'll be more than happy to look into it. I know things aren't really easy for anyone right now.
