Help Salem Fight FIP & Pancreatitis

Hi friends, family, and fellow animal lovers,

We're reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your support for our sweet boy, Salem—a bright, affectionate, goofy little cat who means the absolute world to us.

Salem will be turning 5 years old on August 18th, but instead of planning a birthday celebration, we're fighting to save his life.

Salem was recently diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP)—a once fatal illness that now, thanks to emerging treatments, has a chance of being beat. On top of that, he’s battling severe pancreatitis, adding pain, complications, and increased risk to his recovery.

As his moms, we (Jolyn and Aturina) have done everything we can to get him the care he needs. Salem is not “just a cat”—he is family, our comfort, and our joy. We’ve already spent close to $7,000 in just the past few weeks:

Extensive bloodwork

Hospitalization and overnight stays

Antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications

A feeding tube and catheter

Fluid panels and pain management

And so much more

But we’re not done yet. FIP treatment is long and costly—another $3,000 to $6,000 is expected for the 84-day medication course, regular lab monitoring, and follow-up visits. Without this treatment, FIP is fatal.

We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t do it alone. If you are able to donate any amount, no matter how small, you’ll be helping us give Salem the chance he deserves—a chance to make it to his 5th birthday and many more beyond it.
