Hi everyone,

 

My dad— Saanien Sam Saelee, 55, suffered an aneurysm which progressed into a severe subarachnoid hemorrhage and became comatose. After heavy deliberation, because of his poor chance of recovery, we decided to let him Rest In Peace on 4/21/22.

It is with a heavy heart and great courage to be asking for donations for my dad’s burial, but we would be grateful for anything so that we can send him off peacefully.

 

My dad was such a giving and caring person and was heavily involved in the Iu Mien community. He was a valued member of “Samacomb” a charity program in the Mien community, nearly similar to gofundme where he would collect money from Mien families to help other families who were struggling to pay for burial expenses. I just hope for that same kindness to be returned to him in his and our time of need.
