This page has been created to help our friend, family member and co-worker Jim Fox. Many of you may or may not know that Jimmy has been feeling sick and battling health issues for quite some time now. After multiple blood tests, a CT scan, and a bone marrow biopsy, it was revealed that Jimmy has a rapid and aggressive form of leukemia known as Acute Leukemia. We were all shocked by the news and are still working hard to understand and accept this diagnosis. 

 

Last week Jimmy was transported via ambulance to UC San Francisco, a hospital 3 hours away from home, because they do not treat his specific form of cancer locally. Obviously, Jimmy and his family are in for a lot of challenging times ahead. Along with the challenge of fighting this terrible disease, Jimmy and his family will have to deal with the cost of the fight. All of us who know Jimmy (but love him anyways...haha) know that he is someone who is too proud to ask for help, and even when help is offered, he is usually too stubborn to accept it. He was just diagnosed first week in August and there are still a lot more questions than answers. The consensus however, is that Jimmy has an extensive road to recovery ahead of him and he will need our continuing love and support.
