Josh Chesney needs your help
Donation protected
Hi, I am June Mallicoat and I am friends with Josh and Amanda Chesney. Josh was working for TDOT 4 years ago when he was struck by a car and thrown 49 feet in the air, hitting a steam roller upon landing. He had 2 breaks in his pelvis, a fractured skull, a broken spine, a severely broken left leg, left arm and a broken right wrist. He also had a ruptured aorta. They nearly lost him.
With God's healing and Josh's determination he can walk again. However, the doctors say he should not work because his lymphatic system is permanently damaged in his left leg, which swells, and causes him a lot of pain. It also increases his risks of blood clots. He has metal plates in his leg and left arm which weaken them, causing weakness and swelling after use. He has trouble remembering. Josh has had 8 surgeries. They just found a fracture in his L5 vertebrae from the accident a month ago.
After 4 years Josh still hasn't been approved for disability.
Amanda was diagnosed at an early age with Lupus and Rheumatoid Arthritis. and she is also unable to work.
They have been struggling, and are at the end of their rope. They are not giving up. They are reapplying for disability, but are desperate now for help. His workman's compensation stopped a year ago.
They have a 9-yr old daughter that depends on them.
The money will be used to help pay their mortgage and do some much needed home repairs.
Someone has been paying their mortgage for 2 years, and that is ending this month. They never dreamed they would still be fighting for disability after 4 years!
These people are dear to my heart and this is a sincere need.
If you could find it in your heart to help them out with a donation, it would mean so much to them, and it would mean so much to me. Please pray for them also.
God bless you for any assistance you can give.
