For My Mother….

My name is Rebecca Panico. Before I married my husband I was Federoff…and always will be. On November 8th, 2021 we lost our beloved daddy and my mom lost her soulmate. There are still no words to describe how devastating this week has been. I don’t know that we will ever feel 100% complete again. Neil John Federoff was 71. He was our big daddy, our chief, our mentor, our friend, our comedian, and he was open arms to run to if you needed anything. I think I’m most upset for my mom… This man loved her more then anything and I can’t imagine losing your other half. He carried a photo of my mom in his wallet that was taken at a Halloween party in the 1980s. She was dressed as a sexy tiger :) This is the photo he showed people when he was asked about my mom. He thought she was always beautiful and was so proud to be that sexy tigers husband. It was if time stopped and he always looked at her with the same love as he had for the young lady in the photograph. Even though we always laugh because my mom now has gray hair and is not up for sexy costumes anymore, we know how proud he was that mom picked him to share her life with. This loss was unexpected and we are working everyday to make sure she has everything she needs. Jackie Federoff is the strongest lady I know! However, in the coming year we are nervous about making sure she can take care of situations financially. My parents lost their life insurance due to rising premiums that they could not afford. They lived on limited income from social security and now that dad has passed that amount will go down as well. After getting together with my brother, friends, and our spouses we thought we would ask for a little extra help just to make sure she is ok. I watched my parents help people their whole lives while they could. So any help is appreciated. Please keep mom in your prayers. We have gotten so many text messages, phone calls, and cards…we have felt so much love and strength. Love you mommy and daddy.
