Scott's Remembrance
Donation protected
I've learned today that word spreads fast. It seems most have already heard that my brother, Scott Elms, at 15 years old, committed suicide in the early hours of the morning. For many years my father, me, and until about a year ago my grandmother, have all been trying to hold this family together. It was always a bumpy road but somehow we managed to fight through it. Today we lost that fight and my father and I don't even know where to begin picking up the pieces. May 28th, 2005 my grandfather passed away from a deep illness. May 28th, 2015 my brother passed away from mental illness.
We are not the type of people to ask for help, especially my father. We've always been the type to just figure it out. But I know that we do not have the money to take care of the arrangements that come with death. And I am not afraid to ask for help right now. Honestly, I don't know how much funerals and all that comes with death cost but I know that anything would help.
