Madison came into our lives 14 years ago as the sweetest little kitten one can imagine. She's been through it all with my wife and I, overcoming multiple moves, new additions to the family and health scares. When we got her my wife and I were not yet married so in a way Madison represents our entire love story. She is also a loving sister to our other cat Montana who loves spending time with her
Madison recently developed a concerning mass on her upper mammary gland. We held out hope, but cytology revealed a mammary cell carcinoma. However, we got great news: radiography revealed no evidence of the cancer spreading anywhere and blood work showed she is an ideal candidate for surgery. She will have the mass surgically removed at Northpoint Veterinary Hospital.
I have been dealing with health issues of my own and my wife has had the brunt of the veterinary expenses. Additionally our pet savings fund was depleted as we tried everything possible to help another cat. Madison has a chance at a cure, I don't want to miss out on that.
