Anthony Gilin is the founder of Mine Safety Solutions, a Timmins-based company that focuses on creating innovative and optimal safety products for mining, construction, forestry, manufacturing, and other industries worldwide.

 

Recently Anthony suffered an unexpected major seizure that had him airlifted from Timmins to the Sudbury hospital where he fought in ICU for weeks.

 

Once fully conscious, Anthony was then transferred back to the Timmins hospital where he is currently learning to walk, memorize words and count.

 

Anthony has always been generous in his donations to local organizations such as: Living Space, YO Mobile!, Lord's Kitchen and several others in our Community. He has also organized flights to send food and water to Attawapiskat during the water crisis which was funded by himself and other supporters.

 

 

 

It has been one month since Anthony’s business has been put on pause. Preoccupied by thoughts of customers, partnerships and business momentum he once had has made Anthony’s journey to recovery even more challenging.

Anthony and Mine Safety Solutions are now asking for the community's help in order to continue operations.

 

Starting a business is difficult. Rebuilding a business is even harder.
