EposVox Camera Upgrade
Hi there,
My name is Adam Taylor - I go by EposVox online. I run a few different YouTube channels, all under the backbone of my main, tech-focused YouTube channel simply called "EposVox."
For the past few years, I've been creating video content primarily using my only DSLR camera - my Canon EOS Rebel T3i. I spent my entire savings on this camera ($800) in 2012 with the idea that it might be worth it with the work I could do with it. I was correct - it exploded my interest in and professional curiosity for photography and video content creation, and I've come really, really far since then.
But, it's a really old camera. We're in the era of 4K, and this thing only spits out a maximum of 1080p-sized video, which is technically upscaled internally from a line-skipping less-than-1080p resolution. It's old, it barely still works to my needs, and it is holding my content and my channel back.
That is why I've started this GoFundMe fundraiser - to raise a fairly small sum (~$700) to buy a new, 4K-ready DSLR and some accessories, to push 2016 forward!
Please consider contributing any amount that you can as to help boost the channel's quality for better videos for YOU! :)
I can still make great videos with my T3i. That's been seen recently in my recent reviews such as my Microphone 3-Way Showdown and my LETTON G5 Headset Review.
But I could do so much better with updated gear. This would improve production quality and help give the channel a competitive edge to grow and prosper, thus allowing me to create more and better content.
However, I'm currently mostly scraping by, financially, and I cannot afford this camera setup on my won. So I'm reaching out to you - my awesome and wonderful subscribers - to see if we can raise at least three-quarters of the required funds within a couple months and I can foot the rest.

- Panasonic Lumix G7 4K Mirrorless DSLR - $598
(Feel free to weigh in on if I should get the silver or black model.)
- Lexar 128GB UHS-3 SDXC Card - $62
- Lens adapter for one of my lenses to this camera - $20
- AC Power Adapter for the G7 - $20
If we can raise even half of the required funds, I will be immensely grateful and do everything I can to gather the rest of the money myself and make the purchase (or skip out on the extra lens at first, etc.). Everyone who contributes can receive a dedicated shoutout in a "Thank You" portion of the video I do unboxing/checking out the new camera for the channel.
I will also be adding any Patreon donations I get between now and the end of this campaign towards the goal.
