“Everyone is gifted, it's just that some people never open their package.” I believe this quote describes the city of Tallahassee, and that we are in fact very gifted. We are gifted with the ability to have two top universities and community college. Gifted with being the home of The National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, and Danfoss Turbocor. Gifted with an abundance of natural splendor, from our rich history, majestic oak trees and beautiful canopy roads. We are in deed gifted, but the question i pose to you today is that. Have we opened our package, have we lived up to our god given gifts? Has the city tapped into it’s full potential? We as a city have come to far to let the mistakes of a few tarnish the confidence of the people. It is time to move the city forward into a new era of prosperity and economic growth. Working toward a better tomorrow by :Preservation Of The Cities Identity.Advocate For Small Businesses.Talent Retention. Support For A Ethics Committee That Has The Power To Make Changes. Modernize The Police Force & Tackle Recidivism. Transparency & Fiscal Responsibility. So, I call upon you today. In order to make these ideas into reality I need your help.
