My name is Reid Kornman, and together with Brenna Gethers, We are running for the Board of Education for Eastchester Union Free School District in Eastchester, NY. We are both passionate about our community and believe that our schools deserve strong, transparent leadership. Our decision to run was inspired by growing concerns about the lack of oversight in technology and the need for greater transparency between the board and the community. Recently, the current board has proposed a significant tax increase that will go 5% over the tax cap. We believe this decision requires more community input and responsible leadership to ensure that the needs of students, families, and taxpayers are all considered.
