Hi, I'm Beth Sharbonda ,Christy’s mother-in-law, and Dakota’s grandmother, I have decided to start this go fund me as their home was burnt to the ground on June 26th. Their hearts are absolutely broken over the loss of their beloved dogs Aspen and Nymeria who did not survive the fire along with their precious cats. Their son (my grandson) Dakota was injured trying to save the dogs. He is still healing both physically and emotionally as one of the dogs was his. Their entire life was in this home, and it was left in rubble along with several vehicles. They have been through a lot for several years and did not need this.

They saved for so many years to finally buy the land out by Alamosa and build their home which they had just been putting some finishing touches on when this happened. PLEASE find it in your hearts to give and help this family in any way that you can. They are really struggling and are forced to live in a camper with their 13-year-old daughter while they decide if they can even afford to rebuild. Dakota is heading back there with a second camper to help with the rebuild if we can raise some funds to get started.
