My mission is simple: to help people learn English. Can you help me?

I’m Anusha Gukhool, and my life is an exciting adventure in teaching English language!

I’m not chasing dreams of great wealth. My greatest wish is to live peacefully, dedicating myself to a job I love—and teaching truly makes me happy. I firmly believe that this joy will pass on to my students because doing what you love is a powerful force that everyone should have the chance to experience.

I’ve had the privilege of guiding students of all ages and backgrounds—from the tender years of kindergarten to the enthusiasm of university, through the challenges of the corporate world and the needs of individual learners. Teaching is not just my job; it’s my calling, my true passion! My guiding motto has always been: “USA LA TESTA, NON SOLO IL TESTO,” which in English means: “Use your head, not just the textbook.”

Along my journey, I felt a strong desire to go beyond traditional methods, even while recognizing their value. I dreamed of a different kind of school—a place where every student could thrive in their own unique way, unlocking their full potential without feeling trapped in rigid, impersonal frameworks. Imagine a learning environment where progress is not a mechanical sequence of exercises but an exciting journey shaped by your personal vision of the world—where assessments become opportunities for growth rather than mere judgments!

And you know what? I’ve created a method that breaks the mold! A fresh and innovative approach where English unfolds naturally, following your own logical patterns. It builds a solid and safe bridge between the way you think and the fascinating structures of this language. Forget the “trauma” of having to abandon your linguistic processes—I will guide you in discovering how your first language can easily “match” with English, allowing you to express yourself with confidence and authenticity from day one!

This tailored approach is a precious resource for students of all ages, whether individually or in carefully curated small groups designed to enhance each person’s abilities.

And the great news? This dream is becoming a reality! I’ve found a beautiful space in Turin—a bright, welcoming place, filled with positive energy and ready to become the beating heart of this new adventure.

Until now, I’ve organised this journey on my own, covering rent and developing course programs with my personal savings. But now, I need your help to transform this space into a warm and fully functional learning hub for my students.

Sono Anusha Gukhool e ho avuto la possibilità di insegnare inglese all’asilo, alle elementari, alle medie, alle superiori, all’università, alle aziende e ai privati. Sono in grado di insegnare inglese a studenti di tutte le età. Lo faccio con gioia e passione. Il mio motto è “usa la testa, non solo il testo”.

Mi sono accorta che i metodi tradizionali, per quanto validi possano essere, hanno un limite importante: non è possibile tener conto dell’individualità, dei ritmi e della personalità dello studente.

Vorrei aprire una scuola diversa. Una scuola in cui si possa aiutare lo studente ad utilizzare il proprio potenziale e dare il meglio di sé, una scuola in cui non si rimanga incastrati in unità didattiche senza rimandi alla propria visione, con esercizi quasi meccanici, verifiche confezionate, valutazioni non formative.

Ho ideato un metodo completamente diverso dai precedenti in cui la modalità e l’ordine con cui le informazioni vengono fornite sono diverse da quelle di qualsiasi altro metodo.

La lingua inglese viene appresa tenendo conto della logica dello studente e incastrandola con il codice da apprendere.

In questo modo non si crea il “trauma dell’abbandono dei propri meccanismi” ovvero, lo studente italiano ad esempio non dovrà abbandonare il proprio modo di pensare alle frasi ma semplicemente comprenderà la logica delle strutture inglesi e troverà un intreccio che gli permetterà di comunicare sentendosi sicuro.

È un lavoro possibile con studenti di tutte le età, singolarmente e in piccoli gruppi di abbinamenti di studenti, chiaramente abbinati in base al loro modo di apprendere. Questo permette di esaltare le loro abilità e aumentare le loro conoscenze.

Per farlo mi occorreva tempo e spazio. Adesso li ho entrambi. Ho infatti trovato uno spazio in affitto, è luminoso e raccolto, positivo e spazioso.

Per adesso riesco a gestire autonomamente i costi dell’affitto, della programmazione dei percorsi da proporre. Fin qui sono riuscita a far da sola.

Ho desiderato iniziare questa raccolta fondi perché mi serve aiuto per arredare la scuola, in modo modesto, accogliente e funzionale.

Vorrei acquistare gli strumenti che saranno necessari per l’insegnamento, per la pubblicità, per la promozione e per la creazione di un website.

A chiunque contribuirà sarò felice di regalare una lezione (in presenza oppure online) in questo modo potrete toccare con mano il progetto che spero diventi presto una realtà d’impatto nella nostra società.

Sarò felicissima di aggiornarvi attraverso prove d’acquisti, foto e video dei progressi che faremo insieme.

Non sono molto ambiziosa e non sono mossa dal desiderio di diventare milionaria. Il mio obiettivo è poter vivere una vita serena, facendo un lavoro che amo in un modo che mi rende felice. In questo modo spero che ai miei studenti arrivi anche la gioia con la quale lavoro, la gioia che bisognerebbe poter vedere in tutte le persone quando sono all’opera.

E in generale, come scrivo nel mio bigliettino da visita, “Be wHere you count”! Scegliete di stare nel posto in cui siete valorizzati e contate! Sempre. Per me e per i miei studenti ogni vostro aiuto farà la differenza.
