Hi my name is Karlie Bogan. My brother and I are making this go fund me to help support my mom in her cancer journey and recovery. My mom, Vonny Bogan, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Due to this she is unable to work for a long period of time. On the day of her surgery my father also suffered a heart attack and had to go into an emergency procedure where he had 3 new stents put in to add to his 5 already present in his heart. He is unable to work as well due to his condition afterward and recovery. This has been an incredibly stressful time in our lives. In addition, my mother went to her follow up after surgery only to find out the cancer spread more than initially believed and has to go back into surgery in the same spot, leaving her with a much longer time in recovery than initially anticipated. In about two weeks both my brother and I are leaving the state again to return back to our universities leaving us unable to help them through this. Any donations are more than appreciated as we move through this difficult time starting the new year. 

Update: On January 3rd 2024, my father’s heart couldn’t handle the pressure anymore and he unfortunately passed away. This time is extremely hard for my family and we could really use the help. I appreciate all everyone is doing and thank you in advance.
