Funeral Expenses for Vonni Farris
Donation protected
This morning, Sunday, October 17, 2021, Vonni Farris, passed away very suddenly and unexpectedly. She died on the way to the hospital, in the arms of her loving husband, James Farris. While the exact cause of death is yet unknown, it is suspected that it was a blood clot.
James and Vonni just buried their son, James Micheal Farris, on October 8, 2021. He was only 27 years old, and he leaves behind two young children and a wife. James and Vonni just paid his funeral expenses, leaving them with little financial cushion.
The last several weeks of grieving for James, Jr. took a lot out of them both. When I spoke to James this afternoon, he said he truly believed that Vonni grieved herself to death — that she died of a broken heart.
This GoFundMe fundraiser is being set up to assist James with funeral expenses, and possibly provide a little cushion so he can take a little time off his constant work schedule to properly grieve the untimely losses of his wife and son. No one should have to bury their wife and child within weeks of each other.
If you pray, please pray for James. If you are his friend, please reach out. Funeral plans are in process. An update will be posted here soon.
Funeral arrangements: A viewing will be held at Adam’s Funeral home on Stephenson Avenue on Friday, October 29 from 12-2. The funeral is the following day, 10/30, at 11 am, also at Adam’s.
