Vonda Sewell Hendrix (many called her Nonna), age 60 went to be with our Heavenly Father on 4/24/2025 at 11:02 PM. She leaves behind 3 sons, Christopher, Matthew, and Nicholas. Her 3 sons depended on her as she was a single mother. 2 of her sons who were born disabled, leaving Matthew to take care for them. Nonna went to the hospital on 4/18/2025, during her stay we found out she was fighting many nasty infections in the ICU, one which took her right foot from her. She started to decline on 4/23/2025 to which her heart stopped beating for 14 mins. Which lead her to be on a ventilator. Despite the fight she put up, her heart simply wasn't strong enough to keep going. She was the definition of strength and sacrifice- raising her boys with love, grace, and everything she had, often putting her own needs last.

Now, in the wake of her passing, our family is navigating both the pain of losing her and heavy responsibility of making sure her children- especially her two sons with disabilities- are cared for and supported. We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses and provide immediate support for the boys as we work to create a stable future for them.
