Doch schon seit ihrer Anreise hatte meine Mutter starke Kopfschmerzen.

Zusätzlich engagiere ich mich ehrenamtlich in der New Life Church Düsseldorf.

Was zählt, ist meine Mama.

I should actually be enjoying the final weeks leading up to my wedding. My fiancée and I are getting married in November 2026. My parents traveled all the way from Iran to Germany so they could share this special day with us. After a difficult visa process, they were finally granted a three-month visa. I was simply so happy to finally have them here with me. But ever since my mother arrived, she had been suffering from severe headaches. Just three days after arriving in Germany, the pain became so unbearable that we had to take her to the hospital. That was when we received a diagnosis none of us could ever have expected: My mother had a large brain tumor. In an instant, everything else became unimportant. The doctors had to act quickly, and my mother underwent emergency surgery. Thankfully, they were able to remove the tumor. I am infinitely grateful to the doctors and the entire medical team for everything they have done. But our worries are far from over. We still don’t know what further treatments she may need or what the coming weeks will look like. At the same time, we are facing a financial burden that we can barely manage on our own. Because my mother is in Germany as a visitor from Iran, we have to cover the entire cost of her medical treatment ourselves. Even before the surgery, the hospital required an upfront payment of €14,500. With the help of friends, we managed to raise this amount on short notice. However, this money was borrowed, and I will have to pay it back. The surgery alone is expected to cost around €26,000. On top of that, there are the costs of her hospital stay, medical examinations, medication, follow-up care, and potentially further medical procedures. We still don’t know how high the total costs will ultimately be. I am currently a medical student, and I work alongside my studies as much as my schedule allows. I also volunteer at New Life Church Düsseldorf. I am genuinely trying to do everything I can to carry my share of this responsibility and contribute as much as possible. But sometimes, you reach a point where you realize that no matter how hard you try, you simply cannot do it alone anymore. And that is exactly where I find myself right now. It is incredibly difficult for me to ask for help publicly. My parents came to Germany to attend my wedding. They wanted to be there with us and share one of the most special moments of our lives. None of us could have imagined that just a few days after their arrival, everything would suddenly revolve around my mother’s health. Right now, the wedding has become secondary to me. What matters most is my mom. All I want is for her to receive the medical care she needs, without us having to worry about how we will pay the next hospital bill every time another treatment becomes necessary. That is why I am asking for your support from the bottom of my heart. Every donation helps us, no matter how big or small. All donations will go toward covering my mother’s surgery, hospital stay, and any further necessary medical treatment. And if you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean so much to us. I never imagined that one day I would find myself depending so heavily on the kindness and generosity of others. Just a few weeks ago, I was imagining my mother standing beside us on our wedding day. Today, I have only one wish: That my mom gets better and finds the strength to make it through this difficult journey. And that, perhaps, we will still be able to stand together as a family in November. From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank every single person who supports us, shares our story, or keeps my mother in their thoughts and prayers. Thank you for not leaving us alone during this incredibly difficult time.
