Help Me Volunteer Abroad & Support Animal Rescue
In just one week , I’ll be heading to Sardinia, Italy to volunteer at a small nonprofit rescue farm through the WWOOF program. This is an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in animal care and rehabilitation — and bring that knowledge back to enhance the work we do at Calvary Farms.
Why This Matters
The farm I’ll be volunteering at is L’Oasi Felice degli Animali, a sanctuary focused on rescuing and rehabilitating neglected and abused large animals — primarily horses. It’s run by Jessica, who has created a healing environment for animals who’ve experienced trauma and mistreatment. I’ll be volunteering full-time as a farmhand, learning directly from her and supporting the daily work of animal care, training, and rehabilitation.
Both L’Oasi Felice and Calvary Farms share a mission: to give animals a second chance, and to teach others about compassionate, sustainable animal stewardship.
How You Can Help
I’m raising funds to cover my travel expenses to Italy so I can volunteer and bring back valuable skills and insights to Calvary Farms.
✨ I’ve committed to donating 50% of everything raised directly to L’Oasi Felice degli Animali, to support their ongoing rescue efforts.
The remaining funds will cover airfare, ground transportation, and basic travel needs. If there's anything left over, it will go directly to Calvary Farms, to help fund new programs based on what I’ve learned abroad.
Your Support Has Impact
By donating, you're not just helping me get to Italy — you're:
- Supporting two nonprofit animal sanctuaries in different parts of the world
- Investing in education and outreach at Calvary Farms
- Helping animals live better, safer, more dignified lives
If you can give, thank you so much. If you can’t, please consider sharing this with anyone who might want to support animal rescue and education. Every little bit helps. ❤️
Thank you all ❤️
