I am excited to be a part of the Volunteer Zambia team 2026 and will be hosting a variety of fundraising events to support the charity between now and May 2026.

Volunteer Zambia is an international sport programme run by the Wallace Group – a collaboration between leading UK ‘sport’ universities –supporting  and working with the leading Zambian sports NGO, Sport in Action. Together, they use sport to engage, educate and empower young people in Zambia and the UK.

Vision

“to work with Sport in Action to establish countrywide sustainable sport programmes that empower communities and provide pathways for young Zambians in participation, leadership and life skills“

As part of Volunteer Zambia I will be traveling to Zambia in May 2026 to teach Zambians how to play and coach netball within some of the poorest communities. Passing on the positive influence sport can play in peoples lives whilst supporting my own journey of study to be a PE Teacher. I am grateful for any donation given in support of both me and this great cause and thank you for any help you give in helping me reach my £2,500 target.
