Camps Intl volunteering Peru, July 2025

Hi, my name is Bea and I am raising money for travel and accommodation to go on a school volunteering trip to Pillahuara, near Cusco in Peru in 2025.

During the three-week trip I will be helping in projects that are designed to provide sustainable long-term support to the communities. Improving sanitation facilities in houses for families and vulnerable elderly adults and working on community projects to help by building greenhouses, all while establishing transatlantic relationships.

I will be learning about the Peruvian culture and after this work I will trekking to the ancient Inca ruins of Machu Picchu.

The trip is being organised by Camps International and to go I need to raise £3,990 (or almost £400 every month) so will be doing lots of things such as a silent auction this spring, dog walking and organising a quiz night.

To start with I will be walking/cycling 118 miles - the length of Lake Titicaca in Peru in January/ February 2024, to raise this, so any donations, large or small will make a difference. Thank you!
