Hi my name is Mindy Marrione, and I am hoping to reach other Athletic families out there that are willing and able to give back to the athletic community the way that so many volunteer coaches have given them And their children.
If you have a child that plays relational or competitive sports you know that the time, effort and financial commitment does not come easy to any of our volunteer coaches.
There are many that are displaced and lost so much in the track of recent hurricane Ida.
One of our assistance coaches lost everything they owned and was rushed out of their homes in the middle of the storm with waters quickly rushing in. They were able to safely get their family of 6 (three of which are small children) out to safety with only the clothes on their back.
They lost everything! And currently are displaced trying their best to fend for themselves.
This kind man and his family volunteer his personal time and on his own dime drives from Laplace to Covington to just be a part of our soccer teams lives.
I know we all have had to deal with damage and uncomfortableness recently, but if you are able to and find it in your heart to contribute $5, $10, $20 whatever you can. Every penny helps.
Lets pull together to give back to people like this that give unconditionally to our youth.
We couldn’t do youth sports without people
like this.
Thank you so much for any and all
support!
