John was diagnosed with cancer 6 years ago. During that time he has had numerous surgeries and treatments including having a kidney removed. Last year, he was to have the remainder of his bladder and prostate removed but that surgery was cancelled due to the spread of his cancer which is now in his lungs. John was out of work for several months early into this battle before ultimately having to retire early.

John and his wife Francie have decided to relocate to Florida and John’s goal is to move down there in the next two months so he can get Francie settled in near her family before his condition worsens. Considering the unexpected situation the Scheetz family has been placed in and his early retirement, we want to work to help offset some of their moving costs. John is very prideful and certainly would not want us to make this request but we want to support our brother and his family and ensure that their wish to relocate to Florida is granted.

John is one of the most giving people we know, and we want to give back to him to help him during this most challenging time.
