Volkan Ergün - funeral fundraiser & support for his family

Many of you would have heard about the tragic passing of Auburn FC's All Age Men’s player and our brother, Volkan Ergün, during a football match at Binalong Oval on Saturday, August 31, 2024.

Our hearts are shattered after the loss of our dear friend, Volkan Ergün. He was not just a player for Auburn FC, he was a devoted husband and father who will be deeply missed.

Volkan leaves behind his loving wife, Gulsah Ergün, and their two children, a 7 year old son and 11 year old daughter. The photo of Volkan and his son was taken moments before match kick-off on Saturday.

Auburn FC has created this fundraiser to help the family with the costs of the funeral and help them with the financial burden during this difficult time. Any contribution can help. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be given directly to Volkan's wife, Gulsah.
